Un film en deux volumes par le légendaire QUENTIN TARANTINO.

L’histoire : Au cours d'une cérémonie de mariage en plein désert, un commando fait irruption dans la chapelle et tire sur les convives. Laissée pour morte, la Mariée enceinte retrouve ses esprits après un coma de quatre ans. Celle qui a auparavant exercé les fonctions de tueuse à gages au sein du Détachement International des Vipères Assassines n'a alors plus qu'une seule idée en tête : venger la mort de ses proches en éliminant tous les membres de l'organisation criminelle, dont leur chef Bill qu'elle se réserve pour la fin.

J’adore tout simplement les deux films ! Les acteurs sont excellents (chapeau à Uma) et l’intrigue, même si elle est assez simple, est vraiment bien tournée. Et puis, le mélange des genres, grâce à la musique, à l’esthétique, donne un plus au film. C’est sympa à regarder et on voit clairement que Tarantino s’est amusé en faisant le film et que toute l’équipe s’est donné à fond, ça fait plaisir ! En plus les combats sont vraiment excellents (et pourtant je suis pas une fan !) vous pouvez pas dire le contraire !

Pour ma part, j’ai une petite préférence pour le volume deux. Je le trouve vraiment plus abouti que le premier, moins superficiel… On comprend mieux les liens qui lient Béatrix et Bill et on rentre plus dans la psycho des personnages. Ce qui n’empêche pas le réalisateur de nous offrir toujours plus de ses superbes combats !

Dialogues cultes :

Bill : Do you find me sadistic? You know, kiddo... I'd like to believe you're aware enough, even now, to know that there is nothing sadistic in my actions. Maybe towards those other jokers. But not you. No, kiddo. At this moment... This is me… at my most masochistic.
The Bride : Bill... It's your baby.

The Bride : Wiggle your big toe.

The Bride : I have vermin to kill.
Hanzo : You must have big rats you need Hattori Hanzo's steel.
The Bride : Huge.

If you're unconvinced a particular plan I've decided is the wisest, tell me so. But allow me to convince you and I promise you right here and now no subject will ever be taboo. Except of course the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is : I collect your fucking head. Just like this fucker here. Now if any of you sons of bitches got anything else to say... now's the fucking time!

I want him to witness the extent of my mercy by witnessing your deformed body. I want you to tell him all the information you just told me. I want him to know what I know. I want him to know I want him to know. And I want them all to know... they'll all soon be as dead as O-Ren.

Budd : That woman deserves her revenge. And... we deserve to die.

The Bride : How did you find me?
Bill : I'm the man.

Budd : Ain't nobody a badass with a double dose of rock salt dug deep in her tits.

The Bride : When will I see you again?
Bill : That's the title of my favourite soul song of the seventies.

Budd : They say the number one killer of old people is retirement. People got a job to do, they tend to live a little bit longer so they can do it. I've always figured that warriors and their enemies share the same relationship. So now that you're not gonna have to face your enemy no more on the battlefield... which "R" ya filled with? Relief...or regret?

Elle : Right at this moment... the biggest "R" I feel is regret. Regret that maybe the greatest warrior I have ever met, met her end at the hands of a bushwhackin', scrub, alkie, piece of shit like you. That woman deserved better.

Elle : And now I'm gonna kill you, too. With your own sword, no less. Which, in the very immediate future, will become my sword.
The Bride : Bitch... you don't have a future.

The Bride : Before that strip turned blue... I was a woman, I was your woman. I was a killer who killed for you. Before that strip turned blue, I would've jumped a motorcycle onto a speeding train. For you. But once that strip turned blue… I could no longer do any of those things. Not anymore. Because I was gonna be a mother. Can you understand that?

Bill : I overreacted.
The Bride : You overreacted? Is that your explanation?
Bill : I didn't say I was gonna explain myself. I said I was gonna tell you the truth. But if that's too cryptic, let's get literal. I'm a killer. I'm a murdering bastard. You know that. And there are consequences... to breaking the heart of a murdering bastard.

Je suis fan absolu! Kill Bill Wub

Le premier avec son ambiance japonaise, ses magnifiques combats au sabre, O-Ren Ishi et son garde du corps complètement dingue (Rappelez-vous la séquence hallucinante du combat avec Go-Go Yubari!), sa BO exceptionnelle, la Pussy Wagon...

Le second et ses influences westerns, sa terrifiante scène de l'enterrement, son nouveau personnage complètement barré (Pei-Mei le maître d'armes) et surtout, surtout, ELLE DRIVER, la plus grosse garce qu'on a jamais vu au cinéma.

j'aime bien ces films mais ils sont un peu trop morbide au bout d'un moment ça devient trop banale Kill Bill Sleep

J'avais oublié le dialogue sur Emilio, c'est excellent! Carrément dégeu et dérangeant je trouve, mais bel et bien excellent!

Sinon, vous avez remarqué que dans le générique de fin, les personnes de la liste de Beatrix sont barrées sauf Elle Driver, qui elle a droit à un joli point d'interrogation?

Cela voudrait dire qu'elle est peut-être encore en vie à la fin du film! Elle pourrait faire une apparition dans l'éventuel Kill Bill III (je sais pas si vous aviez entendu les rumeurs d'un troisième film 15 ans après, où la fille de Vernita Green voudrait se venger comme lui a proposé Beatrix dans le premier!)
